Some Photos I (Sam) Took of our House

Our awesome dining table with the awesome view of the jungle (and sea in the dry season.)
The living room, with Mom and Dad's room in the back (and me!)
My and Maeve's room, with two big windows and geckos!
Dad's office
View from one of the tower rooms (we're going to use one for a classroom of sorts and one for a music/reading room.)
The stairs leading to the top deck of the tower.
View of Guiones Beach from the tower.
View of the hills and mountains from the tower.
The kitchen.
The guest room with weird design of towel.

    1. We can't wait to see you too! And to share our beaches with you. You can tell us how they're different from the ones you live by.

  4. AH! So beautiful!! I hope to see it all in person sometime soon! (Sam, you should give these pictures to the owner of the house - they are better than the ones on the website! You are awesome!) :)

  5. Hi! Patti here!

Oh, please, please, please could you post some pictures of where we will be staying when we come? Please? We will be the first guests, and so we are eager to see which part of the stunning beauty will be ours to sleep in. Also may I request a picture of our view?

And, What is the butterfly situation at the home front? Any that look like flying hankerchiefs? I like those kind quite a bit. Thirdly, may I please have a wildlife count for a single day? I am curious to know what a typical dya might include.

For my total list in Tunsia, please add: 1 cattle egret, 1 grasshopper that looked like a stalk of wheat, a stork nest (does that count? I'm a bit desperate to inflate my numbers, here) 1 gecko and 1 lizard, and AN OCTOPUS in the sea. I scared it before I got a good look, though.

The last octopus I saw was when I was tidepooling on the flats at Nosara....

  6. You saw an octopus in Nosara??!! I'll keep my eye out. Tomorrow, I'll keep a notebook with me all day and catalogue the wildlife I see. This morning, really early, the howler monkeys (including a baby one) were swinging in the trees right outside our bedroom window. They were LOUD and awesome. I think I got some good photo shots. I'll take some more pictures of your room and view later when the battery is charged. No, we haven't seen Spanish Dancer butterflies yet but I saw one that was bright blue and large, maybe a blue morpho. There are a medium amount of butterflies around the house. We have lots of cattle egrets here too, in the fields.
